Cara is a Bristol-based massage and bodywork practitioner who specialises in Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Massage and Balinese Massage. She has worked as a retreat therapist, runs couples workshops and offers one-to-one coaching and massage for people wanting to explore body image.
Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Massage
Lomi Lomi Massage is deeply nourishing and relaxing. Given using both the hands and forearms, long flowing strokes wash over the body often described as the feeling of gentle waves on the skin.
Following a treatment clients describe a feeling of openness, peace and wellbeing.
Balinese Massage is a fusion of massage styles incorporating stretching, pressure point release and deep tissue massage. It's benefits can include relief of strained muscles, detoxification of the body and nourished and softened skin.
Rhian is a holistic therapist who has a deep interest in the link between the body and the brain, and how an imbalance in one can influence the other. Her treatments are based on individual consultations, so that they can be tailored to the client that day, whether it be physical discomfort or mental/emotional imbalance. She trained at Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork and is now one of the tutors on the holistic massage diploma there.

Holistic, meaning ‘whole’, considers both your physical and mental well-being and works particularly well with the stress response system. It is very adaptable, so it might be you have aching muscles in your shoulders or posture pain from your job, you might be experiencing high levels of anxiety, or be suffering from IBS or insomnia... or it might be that you want to feel more relaxed. As well as Swedish massage strokes, a variety of techniques are used, for example mobilisation, deep tissue, passive stretches, lymphatic work and breathing techniques to name a few, depending on what is discussed in the consultation.

Indian Head massage
Indian Head massage is based on the ancient Ayurvedic healing system and has been passed down through families for over a thousand years. Here, it has been adapted to accommodate our modern, western lifestyle and incorporates the neck, shoulders, arms, upper back and face, as well as the head. It is done seated and can be relaxing, uplifting, energising or grounding, depending on how you would like to feel after and what you have got planned for the rest of the day. We’ll have a quick consultation before we start to discuss any specific needs.

Whichever trimester you are in, pregnancy massage can help with both the physical and emotional changes you experience throughout your pregnancy. There will be an in depth initial consultation to discuss what you need on that particular day. Whether you are suffering from physical discomfort or experiencing emotional imbalance, massage can help and each session will be tailor made for you.

Hanna is passionate about helping people improve their lives. She has been a therapist for 9 years and brings a wealth of expertise and experience in counselling having supported many people to overcome a wide variety of mental health challenges.
She have experience of working in both private practice and the NHS (IAPT service). Hanna believes in a holistic approach to psychological well being and also offers a complementary therapy service which includes Reiki, Bi-Aura Therapy and Indian Head Massage.
Her professional qualifications include: Postgraduate diploma in Counselling (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), First class honours degree in Psychology, Member of the BABCP (British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies), Bi-Aura Therapy, Reiki and Indian head massage. Her approach is supportive, focussed, caring and patient.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) - £55
is a talking therapy. It gives you a chance to take a step back, look at your life and gain perspective. It enables you to manage your problems by recognising how your thoughts are affecting your feelings and behaviour. By breaking down problems into smaller parts, it makes them easier to overcome. It is recommended by the National Institute for Health andCare Excellence (NICE) for common mental health issues, such as depression and anxiety.
Reiki - £45
is Japanese for ‘universal life energy’ and describes an energy healing treatment. Reiki promotes wellbeing. It helps the individual emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually. It brings feelings of peace, centeredness and an ability to cope better with the challenges of life. It is used to unblock energy that gets stuck in the body. When the energy flows uninterrupted, we experience balance and harmony.
Bi-Aura therapy - £45
Bi- Aura therapy helps to locate imbalances in the energy system, using a series of hand movement. This is followed by cleansing blockages in each chakra and the biofield; and a series of techniques to balance the whole energy system. During this process the energy vibration is raised, making it possible to remove blocked energy and attract energy to deficient Areas.
Indian head massage - £45
an ancient therapeutic treatment from India. It is focused on the upper back, shoulders, neck as well as the scalp. A deep massage, which uses a variety of pressure and techniques that cleanse mind, body and spirit. By focusing on the upper 3 chakras, it encourages healing and brings the energy of the whole body into balance. I incorporate techniques of the ayurvedic seated acupressure, which promotes general wellbeing.
