Susan Ganje

Susan teaches Hatha and restorative yoga and her classes focus on opening space in the body, releasing tension and relaxing the mind. Susan is inspired by both the Iyengar and Scaravelli approaches to yoga, with a focus on healthy alignment and integration of breath, gravity, one’s own unique body and experience of the practice. With an early interest in meditation as a means of tuning back into oneself, Susan has been practising yoga for over a decade. She holds an MA in Eastern philosophies from SOAS, University of London. She loves to integrate stories from various traditions of yoga and meditation into her classes. Influential teachers include Mimi Kuo-Deemer (vinyasa), Jean Hall (slow Hatha flow), Adelene Cheong (yoga for back care and restorative yoga), Aki Omori (yoga and somatic movement), Biff Mithoefer (Yin Yoga, Poetry and Storytelling) and Uma Dinsmore-Tuli (yoga for women).
