Lisa James

Having practised since 2002, Lisa became a yoga teacher in order to give back to others what yoga had given to her – space, compassion, ease and a feeling of finally being able to be comfortable in her own skin. She completed her initial Yoga Alliance certification with Laura Gilmore at Bristol City Yoga and has since continued to train with Laura, as well as other teachers including Tias Little and Norman Blair.

Teaching hatha, yin and yoga for sport, Lisa knows yoga to be an intensely powerful and transformational practice and, through her teaching, hopes to bring this to her students – equipping them with a strength and flexibility that goes far beyond the mat.
