Helena has practised yoga for nearly 20 years. She teaches a range of styles from dynamic vinyasa and yoga flow to restorative practices such as yin yoga, meditation and yoga nidra. She’s also a qualified pregnancy and postnatal yoga teacher.
Helena’s yoga experience, combined with a background in dance and movement, allows her to weave many elements into her teaching. She encourages a subtle balance between effort and relaxation, always paying attention to the needs of the individual as well as the group. Her aim is to create a relaxed and enjoyable space for people to feel inspired, challenged, uplifted and nurtured.
Helena launched Tramshed Studio in 2017 because she wanted to create a community of yogis, dancers and movement practitioners in Cardiff and build a space for students and teachers alike to feel relaxed, comfortable and inspired.
